An app that gets you thinking
Joggle is an app for iPad and iPhone that trains your brain through fun cognitive games. I lead the design of the mobile app, product website, and marketing materials. Joggle® has reached Top 10 Education iPad app in over five countries, and has ranked Top 4 iPad app Overall in the UK. It has consistently high ratings, has gone through iterative improvements based on insights from data, behavior, and feedback.
In addition to the game, I also worked on high-profile cognitive research tools that are used by NASA, large employers, and top research universities around the world. This included desktop software, iPad research application, administration dashboard and web service.
People want to stay mentally fit without it feeling burdensome
People are becoming more aware of the value of keeping an active mind. In an increasingly competitive environment where the brain is the indicator of success, people recognize that they need to “use it or lose it” as shown in scientific literature. Joggle utilizes engaging game mechanics and a social features that make the experience approachable and immersive. Transforming monotonous validated cognitive tests into proactive and enjoyable activities is certainly a challenge. Thinking sharper and living better is easier said than done. Having a variety of quick mental puzzles offers a positive experience that paces players to work hard problem-solving while still having fun.
